Product Description

Item Description

The M1860 Army Revolver was used by both Union and Confederate forces. These legendary cap and ball revolvers are full size (13.5") and weigh a hefty 2 lbs. 8 oz. The loading lever, hammer, trigger and cylinder og this replica gun work like the rare, expensive originals. This non-firing replica gun is manufactured with a brass finish. It is also available in an antiqued gray finish. During the Civil War, the Union Army purchased almost 130,000 pieces of the M1860 percussion revolver, making it the most-used revolver in the conflict. This is a blued and brass-finished version of the M1860 revolver. Enterprising Confederate armories were quick to appropriate the design and produce the piece for Southern troops. The gun was a .44 caliber, six shot, front-loader that took linen or paper cartridges. This non-firing replica has the handling characteristics of the original, with functional lock and loading mechanisms. Length: 13.5" Weight: 2lbs 8oz
