In 1938, a stunt pilot takes a trial run in a racing aircraft in preparation for an upcoming air show, however, he accidentally comes into possession of a rocket-propelled backpack which is coveted by the Nazis. Cliff, together with his rocket-pack, embarks on a dangerous mission to stop the gang of Nazi spies and in the process transforms a very ordinary young man into a superhero.
