Blank Gun Safety and Warnings

All Blank Firing Guns comply with BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) and DOC (Department of Commerce) Regulations.

Blank-Firing Pistols and Rifles have been specifically designed to fire one of the following types of blank firing rounds: Brass .22 Short, 8mm, or .380 short/9mm blanks. The correct type is stamped on the blank firing pistol. USE BLANKS THAT FIT YOUR BLANK GUN AND THOSE BLANKS ONLY! Using the incorrect blanks will cause injury.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES attempt to use any of our blank firing guns or rifles with a real bullets or with any blank round other than the one for which it is specifically designed to fit. These blank guns and rifles are constructed of a metal alloy not strong enough for to withstand real firearm bullets, and such misuse may cause the pistol or rifle to explode, with resulting injury, or possibly death, to the user or bystanders. Such misuse, or alteration for such a purpose, will most likely subject the user to criminal prosecution under their area laws. Also, any modification to these pistols/rifles, or dis-assembly by unqualified persons may render it unsafe for its proper use.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES remove, alter, obscure, or otherwise change the appearance of the colored tip at the barrel end of the replica gun. These tips are included on all post-1898 firearm replicas as required by federal law.

When blank firing stage prop pistols and rifles are fired, gunpowder gas is vented forward and sideways through the front of the cylinder, NOT from the muzzle. This gas is hot, and may contain small particles of powder debris. At arm's length it dissipates harmlessly into the air, but if your hands, face or other parts of your body are in close proximity to the vent hole it can cause burns, cuts or abrasions.

TO AVOID RISK OF INJURY always fire this pistol with your arm fully extended and at a safe distance from any other person. Keep your face and hands well away from the vent hole in the top of the barrel when loading, handling or firing this pistol. Always wear glasses to protect your eyes AND hearing protection!

NEVER point any blank firing stage prop pistol or rifle at any person, even as a joke. The carrying, handling or brandishing in public of any object that resembles a real weapon may be in violation of the law, and can cause alarm or be seen as a threat to law enforcement officers or others - with serious or even deadly consequences for you.

Blank firing stage prop pistols and rifles are NOT toys. Their use should ALWAYS be under the supervision of a responsible adult. Blank guns should NEVER be carried on the street, hidden on your person, or left carelessly in your car. Do not leave a blank gun where it is accessible to unsupervised children or irresponsible adults.
