Gun Belt Sizing
How do you properly measure your gun gun belt?
To obtain the proper gun belt sizes: You should take your measurements in the attire you will be wearing when using the gun belt. Please use a soft tape to measure around your waist below your blue jean belt loops and above your outer clothing, finishing the measurement at your jean button / rivet area. This measurement is important and will NOT be your typical pant, or waist size. This measurement is your gun belt size. If you are at a halfsize, move up to the next whole number. It isn't uncommon for gun belts to be 4-6 inches larger than your normal jean, or waist size.
"Alright Pilgrim"! Now for the look. Most people wear their gun belts at the high hip area with the top of the belt resting near where the bottom of the belt loops are on standard fitting blue jeans (not hip huggers). Your gun belt will buckle just below your normal pant waist. Please keep in mind, the fit can vary with the clothing you wear, like chaps or winter gear. So, please keep this in mind when measuring for your gun belt size. Most holsters have eight holes spaced one inch apart in the billet providing a 2-3 inch adjustment, out and in from the center hole to accommodate different clothing and weight gain or loss.
