Shipping and Return Policy

Orders are generally shipped within 1 business day after your order is processed and normally take and can additional 3 - 7 business days to arrive.

Once the order ships, you are provided a tracking number. The number is provided to help you know where your package is. If you recieve tracking for your order and you do not recieve your package within 10 business days of the shipping confirmation, contact us immediately. We are not liable for orders that are lost after the 10 business days have passed. If contacted, we will do our best to help locate your package even after the timeframe above has elapsed.

Orders are processed Mon-Fri during normal business hours.

You may return damaged or defective merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase date for a full refund minus shipping charges. We will also be glad to exchange the damaged merchandise for anything on our site of equal or lesser value.

In the rare event an item is damaged during shipping, we will need to process a claim with the shipper. You will be provided instructions on what is needed to complete the claim, like images, details, ect. The faster the information is provided the faster we get the process going. The claim generally takes 7 to 10 business days to complete. Once the shipper closes the claim, we will provide a replacement piece, or issue a refund if the piece cannot be replaced.

United States Returns Policy (Excluding Costumes)

Movie Replicas Direct offers a no hassle 90 day cash, exchange, or in store credit return policy. To initiate a refund or exchange please fill out the form on the Contact Us tab of this website. You may return new, unopened items within 90 days of delivery for a full refund or in store credit less shipping charges if applicable. We will also pay the return shipping costs on return items if the return is a result of our mistake (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

All returns should be in original undamaged packaging. Your return should include your name, your order number, and the reason for the return, as well as whether you would like a refund, an exchange, or an in store credit. Return items should be shipped to one of three addresses based on the product. Please contact us via our contact form for the correct return address. Contact Us Returns should not be returned to the address label on your packaging. Returning packages to the address on the package label will delay returns and force us to implement a restock fee. A restock fee of 30% will be deducted from your refund if returns go to the incorrect address due to the need for us to ship the return to the correct fulfillment facility.



You should expect to receive your cash refund, or in store credit (if chosen), within 5 business days of the product receipt at our facilities. All refunds will be credited to the payment used for the purchase (ie. credit card, debit, or PayPal).

Costume Returns

  • Returned costumes must be in original packaging and in new resell-able, unaltered condition with no indications of use (which includes no odors such as body odor, perfume/cologne, smoke or any "freshener scent" and the item must not have been washed or cleaned).
  • New, resell-able, unaltered, non-washed returns communicated and shipped back to us will receive a merchandise refund less shipping cost.
  • Costume return requests over 7 days past the original delivery date will not be honored.
  • Costume and costume accessory returns requests between October 29th and November 30th will not be honored.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. *Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

International Shipping Powered by Bongo International Checkout

We have partnered with Bongo International to service our international customers.

At checkout, choose your international destination from the country drop down menu. Once you select your country and attempt to checkout, you will be automatically transferred to Bongo's Secure International Checkout page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.

Upon completion of your order, Bongo will charge your credit card for the entire purchase and then re-purchase those items from our site on your behalf. We will ship the goods to Bongo's Global Distribution Facility and they will be forwarded to your international address.

Shipping Restrictions on Blank and Replica Firearms:

Movie Replicas Direct will maintain worldwide shipping capability to serve our customers near and far in the most efficient manner possible.

Some states impose legal restrictions regarding commerce in or ownership of replica guns. The following shipping restrictions represent our company policy and should not be considered legal advice to customers. Specific information regarding shipping restrictions is available on most official state websites or directly through offices of state secretaries or the state legislatures. Dealers and retail customers warrant that shipments are made in compliance with state and local law.

Imitation Firearms:

CALIFORNIA and KANSAS:

Imitation Firearms, regardless of date, may only be shipped:
1. In conjunction with a frame or presentation box; or
2. Solely for export in interstate or foreign commerce; or
3. Solely for lawful use in theatrical productions; or
4. For use in certified sporting events or competitions; or
5. For use in military or civil defense or ceremonial activities; or
6. For public display authorized by public or private schools:

CONNECTICUT, MASSACHUSETTS, WISCONSIN and MINNESOTA:

All replicas of antique firearms (pre-1898) are allowed. We will not ship replicas of modern firearms (post-1898) to these states.

NEW YORK STATE AND PUERTO RICO:

Replicas of antique firearms (pre-1898) are allowed. We will only ship replicas of modern firearms (post-1898) to theatrical, military, police or other government accounts with valid proof of account identity. A copy of a valid purchase order will suffice.

CANADA:

Replicas of flintlock, percussion, and cap and ball weapons are the only imitation firearms that can be shipped to Canada.

ALL CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH ANY APPLICABLE LAWS OR RESTRICTIONS AT THE POINT OF DESTINATION. PLEASE CHECK LOCAL LAWS PRIOR TO ORDERING.

United States and to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

1. Shipments will be made by UPS or USPS. Federal Express is available for express shipments only.

2. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico may include additional charges.

3. In the event the recipient returns the product directly to Movie Replicas Direct, the customer may be credited for the product returned (but not the freight and drop ship charges) and only if the product returned meets the return requirements outlined in the Terms of Sale.

4. Products returned not in compliance with the Terms of Sale will be destroyed. If the customer desires to salvage these products, Movie Replicas Direct will ship them in accordance with the customer’s instructions at the customer’s expense.

5. Orders returned to Movie Replicas Direct by the carrier (i.e., Federal Express, UPS or Post Office) because of “failed delivery” or “non-delivery” will be handled as follows:

  • a. If non-delivery results from an error made by Movie Replicas Direct, we will immediately re-ship to the correct address at no cost to the customer.
  • b. Orders returned as a result of an error made by the customer will be re-shipped at customer’s expense. In this case the customer pays both the initial and re-ship freight charges.



6. Since many of our products are imported, we cannot guarantee that all items will be in stock at all times. In the event we back-order an item(s), we will advise the customer by email or phone at time of shipment.

7. International orders will ship with a freight company of customer choice.

Your country may assess duties or other fees and may also have restrictions regarding merchandise entering your country which is the responsibility of the buyer.
